So, Mallory Izatt and I were talking on the phone a few days ago and realized that we have been friends for 15 years (and counting). Same goes for Lacey Stanley (Gubler- or Lacey S. Gubes- haha) . We were so inseparable for our elementary years! They were my first friends when I moved to Santa Clara. Lacey had just moved in as well, was in Mrs. Humphries' 2nd grade class with me, and we sat right next to each other. Mallory lived right across the street and I would be there almost every day. We stayed in the same class all through the rest of Elementary and were definitely best buds. This picture is on my 13th birthday in 7th grade. (I love the gap socks and Doc's we all had!) I had to have knee surgery because of an injury in Leisure Services Basketball (who knew it could be so brutal), and this was the day I got my brace off for the first time. We went out to Chilies for dinner, and then my mom drove us to the Mall and they wheeled me around while we went shopping. When we got back, my mom made me get up and walk to the car to help the healing process. My muscles had atrophied so bad after 6 weeks of NO pressure, and I fell straight to the ground. I was so embarrassed to have Mallory and Lacey there staring at me. But we were friends, and they could care less- haha. We had SOOO many more adventures together- I can't even begin to name them all! Sheesh! Now Lacey is expecting a baby next month, (and it's her birthday in a few days! :) and Mallory is getting married in three weeks. We're all grown up! Thanks guys for still being such good friends! I love ya!
