I've been a LITTLE busy with trying to get the play going (for those of you who don't know- I direct drama up at the High School after school). We just finished up Seussical the Musical (such a fun show!) and it went awesome! I was so proud of my kids! They did such a great job! But first- Halloween... :)
*FYI... Probably going to be a pretty long post... :)*
For family night the Monday before Halloween we finally carved some pumpkins! We've never done this with Dallin yet! It was definitely time! This was Dallin's face when he first saw what was inside of the pumpkins- haha...
After a while, he got really into it- and had a fun time. He was so excited when his pumpkin was done and we put the lights inside. We also made a little one for our baby girl. :)
For Halloween- we had an awesome party in our backyard! The weather was perfect... almost hot! A bunch of our neighbors were invited, and we actually got EVERYONE to dress up! :) We all had a great time jammin' to Halloween tunes, and eating yummy food. :) I made little bags for the kidlets with goodies (Halloween straw, teddy-grams, glow bracelet, Halloween 3D card, and stickers), and also let them decorate their own Trick or Treat bag with foam stickers. I originally was going to make their little orange drinks into little pumkin faces- but I just ran out of time. :( Next year...
Dallin in his cute Buzz Lighyear costume (thanks Marci!)
Chantelle and I were Elizabeth and Jane Bennett from Pride and Predudice this year. It was a way fun dress to wear.
Also- Jeff was going to be Indiana Jones... I made him a whip and everything. But last minute decided to be... some cowboy guy. haha. I told him he was my grandpa (Papa Bill).
These are my good friends Bruce and Autumn... so cute! Bruce NEVER dresses up... and we got him too!! YAY! Yehah Bruce!

The play went so well! I was so happy! I was REALLY nervous two weeks ago because I wasn't sure everything was going to pull together... But it did! Thursday was our opening night. My mom, great grandma, Kellie and Garrett all came down to help out. I really appreciated them! My wonderful husband also brought these come for me since it was my opening night! So beautiful! :)
Thursday was a big dinner theater show. The tables looked so cute! I didn't get any pictures of the tables totally done, but here's a sample of them in the process. After they were done they had a better assortment of sizes of red dots (felt cut out) and the colored paper were all Dr. Seuss Books and information about him. I really liked the center pieces though:
And here's a bunch of pictures from the play. If you haven't already seen this play somewhere, I'd definitely recommend it! And take your kids! It's so much fun and has great music that they'll be singing for days (with you secretly humming along). :) There are all sorts of Dr. Seuss characters in the show- like Horton the Elephant, The Who's from Whoville, The Grinch, Mayzie laBird, Gertrude McFuzz, and more! I had such a great time with my kids. Even though it's stressful at times... it's so worth it to see them succeed like that.
This is me with some of the kids that came to the party at their special "kids table". And also a picture of our yummy food...
